Literally one of the best experiences I’ve had in years going to a haunted house. Every actor had their own theme. They had their own miniature story. Nobody As in normal peoplewas running up on top of you and your group everything spaced out perfectly

Best haunted house I’ve ever been to. Jump scares all over and a great cast. They prepped you well and everyone was so much fun. They also did a great job of scheduling a time for you to arrive so that it flowed incredibly smoothly. Props and set design were also great. This place is a must do to fill your spooky tank. Great job Scream Machine.

Definitely with the money. Scary adventure for about 30 minutes. Staff is super nice and actors are scary, but respectful. They didn't touch you you didn't touch them.The only thing is recommend is having a bigger backdrop for the selfie wall. Maybe even consider ring light kit. (Just a thought).

Absolutely a blast. I went on Friday and it was amazing. Props and decor were amazing. Actors were entertaining. Got a lot of good jumps and scares out of me. Definitely gonna come back for black out night. And between us, as someone who worked at Eloise Asylum, this place is better. More actors even though they have less space to work with. Go here instead.Update: I did their blackout night and it was phenomenal. Even better. Actors were entertaining as usual. Got even more scares.

I went through last night and it was a blast! Lots of talented actors popping out from everywhere. It was longer than I expected. It took around 45 min. It has plenty of twists and unexpected turns. I would totally go back!!

Really thought highly of this one. Plenty of good jump scares with quite a lot of actors, easily double than any other we've been to, that were all on their game with their unique characters and interaction. (Made a good friend in "Momma")Each environment's production value was very well done leaving us wishing we could have an hour by ourselves just to check out all the fine details.Very highly recommend

Such a great haunt! We went for a scare Saturday night and weren't disappointed. Then we can to the lights on trick or treating with the kiddos and they LOVE it!

Liked the short wait time, all inside (raining at the time), and pretty good acting.Would have loved it to last longer for the price paid. If it were darker inside, maybe I would have been scared--seemed too bright for a haunted house.

I went last night with my sister and it was far better than anticipated! I ended up loving it. They actually wait like 5 minutes between small groups so you don't run into the one ahead of you. The actors were pretty top tier. I highly recommend it. I've been to several of the well known haunted house attractions around the area over the years, and this is probably my favorite one yet.

I took my 3 daughters here Friday oct. 18th. I paid for my tickets online and had no issue. I scheduled our time for 8:30pm and I think we waited no more than 20 mins. The overall experience was 5 stars. The people, characters and themes were all amazing. I was really quite shocked of how good it is. My daughters are 9,7, and 6. It was super scary to them but there was no profanity and no touching. It was just very intense which I loved. All they have been talking about is how awesome this Haunted house is. It's worth the money and experience so definitely check it out.

i came with a group of 9 and we had an awesome time! we split 5-4 to go in but got a pic all together which was perfect! the set is super immersive and fun. our favorite parts were the elevator, the skull guy who greeted us in the parking lot, the clown rooms, and MAMA!!!! but those are just the ones we can think of off the bat—EVERYTHING was wow! we will definitely be back for the blackout event!

Pleasantly surprised. Im almost impossible to scare so I never base my reviews off that, rather how well the haunt is put together and the enthusiasm of the actors. I wasn't holding my breath bc we were surrounded by mostly young teenagers and I thought this is going to be lame bc its all middle/highschool kids. The actors were great as were all the scenes. Big mama and the elevator were my favorite. Im glad it didn't disappoint and I would drive the 90 mins again next year. We came from Eloise so it was some big shoes to fill and I'm happy I chose this haunt over the others in the area.

First timer. All I can say is WOW! This haunt is awesome. The sets, props, actors, all amazing! Never knew what was going to move or what was a real person. I love how interactive the actors are, they really mess with you when they know you're scared (me). Well worth our two hour drive. My new favorite haunt!

Went last night with some friends for the first time, it was a great haunted house! Actors were so engaged (played their roles very well) & took us about 30 minutes! Great flow of things & we waited at the beginning but it was worth it so that we did not end up running into another group. We will be back in years to come

Great Haunt! The actors, sets, and misdirections were top notch! A bit on the short side though, although bigger than previous years. The escape room we did was fun but not scary. We successfully completed it with only seconds remaining.

I recently visited The Scream Machine and was completely blown away! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric with excitement. The entrance was cleverly designed, setting the tone with eerie sounds and lighting that drew us into the spooky experience.The actors were phenomenal, fully immersing themselves in their roles with impressive commitment. Each scare was perfectly timed, leaving us jumping out of our skins and laughing in equal measure. The set design was nothing short of spectacular, with intricate details that made each scene feel like we had stepped into a horror movie. The haunted house was a blend of classic scares and unique twists that kept us on our toes.One highlight was the interactive element parts that kept you guessing as to what was coming!I also appreciated the staff’s enthusiasm. They were friendly and clearly passionate about creating a memorable experience for visitors. Afterwards, the staff was right there to talk, laugh and help if needed. (Lol)Overall, this haunted attraction was a thrilling adventure that combined chills, laughs, and a great sense of community. I can't wait to return next year for more spine-tingling fun!BRAVO!

This is my first time in Detroit, and my friend and I decided to see what this was all about. Honestly this was pretty good the way they made sure you were spaced out enough so the actors could reset made the experience an experience!!! We did end up doing the two escape rooms and those were fun as well. There was a gift shop at the end of the haunted house with cool trinkets we ended up buying some before we left. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would great job guys and gals!!!!

Just finished our experience at the halfway to halloween Scream Machine experience and it was pretty great! At the end they ask you what was your favorite part but it's all kind of a lot to reflect on so soon after finishing. On our way home my partner and I were talking about the elevator part but then we both realized it was the person who was a joker/clown that rerouted a group in front of us that wasn't moving efficiently and was kinda ruining our experience by setting off the scares too close to us and that actor helped us go ahead WITHOUT BREAKING CHARACTER and greatly improved our experience from that point on. There was lots of great theatrics going on and I was thoroughly enjoying myself throughout so much of it. The interactive asylum was pretty cool too! I will say towards the end there was less going on but again it was towards the end. The guy outside in costume being creepy and getting all up in our faces was a good touch, they could add more people outside walking around and being creepy to add to the anticipation too

In honor of Halfway to Halloween, I came up here last night to see this place for the first time. Long story short, Scream Machine knocked it out of the ballpark! May not happen this year, but I will definitely make the attempt to come back sometime to see the full show in the fall!

My first experience with this attraction was last night. Yes, last night. In May, to honor the “halfway point” to Halloween. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m glad I went. It was an amazing experience!!! The actors were wonderful, and the location was great. The themes and features were well thought out and executed wonderfully. My friends and I will be going again, highly recommend.

We had a blast last night for Halloween! Even with it being chilly, the actors kept everybody in line on their toes with their tricks and surprises so the wait was enjoyable! All of the staff we encountered were delightful and kind. The haunt itself is definitely made with love!! The sets are well crafted and its very easy to immerse yourself into the spookiness! The actors are great at what they do, and were fun to interact with. My husband (he was a kitty cat last night

Went with my wife and young kids (under 12) and we all had a really good time. It took about 20 minutes to walk through, lots of jump scares, creative transitions, and creepy actors. Would definitely go again.

The wait was long so we upgraded to the fast pass which was worth it. The haunted house was so well done, really scary but entertaining and fun! I did find myself saying ‘I thought this was for kids’ a time or two. They did some really creative themed rooms, which if I wasn’t so terrified, I would have looked at more thoroughly. All in all, definitely recommended just bring warm clothes for the wait!

Loved it! Went with 3 others and we all loved it. It was a good decent amount of time for the price you pay. Tickets are not over priced. Make sure to try out the escape from at the end for $7. That was fun... and we beat ours woohoo!!!

What a great time! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this haunted attraction. For starters, we were greeted by a security member in the parking lot who informed us about what we should leave in the vehicle. This may not seem like a big deal, but it saved us a trip back to the car while in line. The line itself moved fairly quickly and we were able to get inside the haunt in under 30 minutes. This was 7pm on a Thursday. Moving to the actors, the make-up was done well and the masks were excellent! Thumbs up to that. There are tons of jumps scares which were caused from loud noises to unexpected behind a wall or corner pop ups! The props, actors, and overall design of the haunt gave you an immersive experience that kept you anxious around every bend. What we loved most though was the spacing of groups. My girlfriend and I never caught up to another group or had a group catch up to us. This is important to us because haunted attractions can be ruined by being able to see scares in advance by a party in front of you or rude and obnoxious people behind you (other haunts we have visited). The spacing, hands down, made this one of the best haunted experiences for us. Lastly, Scream Machine utilizes the amount of space they have well. We walked at a moderate pace and were able to survive the experience in about 20ish minutes. I do wish that the walkthrough lasted a bit longer, and perhaps in the future changes can be made to increase the duration. Being their first year open in this building, it was fantastic! Keep up the great work, and I am sure next year it will be even better! Thanks again to all the actors and employees that stayed in character and provided top notch service!

In 2022 I went back to the scream machine for the first time since 2007. The show, staff and how everything is ran is a ABIAJILLION times better!!!! It's 2023 now and everything that was abajILLION times better last year seems to have doubled in size... I'll definitely be back to experience the show next year & the years after that! Lastly, I love the new location it's no longer that abandoned pump it up and it's turned the location into such a lively place to be on the weekends, thanks scream machine & Kudos to all the freaks and geeks at the scream machine for giving me such a great experience this past weekend it was fantastic!
